TechnicianConstruction Materials Testing - Manchester, New Hampshire

S. W. Cole is accepting applications for anticipated openings for seasonal positions as Technicians to provide construction materials testing for our Manchester, New Hampshire operation.  

Job Responsibilities: Field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials and special inspections.

Job Requirements: We are looking for self starting, motivated individuals to join our team in Manchester, New Hampshire. Candidates must be responsible and have excellent communication and client relationship skills and experience with construction materials testing and special inspections. We prefer Candidates with valid ACI, ICC, and/or NETTCP certifications.  Requirements include strong math skills, excellent communication skills and construction industry experience. Candidates must be able to carry heavy equipment and samples, work in a variety of settings and weather conditions in all seasons, must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Some travel will be required.

Education Requirements: Minimum of H.S. Diploma. AS/AA degree in civil engineering technology, construction technology, or related field preferred.

Laboratory Technician - Construction Materials Testing - Bangor, Maine

S. W. Cole is accepting applications for an anticipated opening for a seasonal position as a Laboratory Technician to provide construction materials testing for our Bangor, ME office. 

Job Responsibilities: Laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials and special inspections.

Job Requirements: We are looking for self starting, motivated individuals. Candidates must be responsible and be attentive to detail and accuracy in their duties. Requirements include strong math skills, communication skills, and proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Excel. Candidates must be able to carry heavy equipment and samples, work in a variety of settings, must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Some travel will be required.

Education Requirements: Minimum of H.S. diploma. College level training in civil engineering technology, construction technology, or related field preferred.
