Congratulations to Evan Walker, Our Newest P. E.!

Bangor, January 20, 2012:  S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. congratulates Geotechnical Engineer Evan M. Walker, the firm’s newest licensed Professional Engineer. Walker, who is based in the firm’s Gray, Maine office, took the test that was administered by the State of Maine Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers in October. The Gray office now has three Professional Engineers on its staff, including Senior Geotechnical Engineer Timothy J. Boyce and President and Chief Executive Officer Paul F. Kohler. S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. has a total of twelve Professional Engineers in six offices on its staff.

Walker holds a bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from the University of Maine. He is a native of Poland, Maine and joined S. W. Cole Engineering in 2007. His primary responsibilities with the firm include coordination and field monitoring of subsurface exploration programs, geotechnical analysis and design calculations, preparation of engineering proposals and reports, and coordination of laboratory soils testing.
