S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. Welcomes Thomas Duffield, P. E., to the Keene office

Swanzey, September 21, 2011:  S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. welcomes Thomas A. Duffield, P.E., L.S.P., to the firm’s Swanzey (Keene) office. Tom brings over 30 years of civil engineering experience to the office, which is managed by construction service manager Andrew Michaud.

As a project manager and senior engineer, Tom has extensive experience in the construction industry with design and permitting of environmental remediation, landfill closures and assessments, regulatory compliance, road designs and infrastructure improvements. His background also includes experience with hazardous waste remediation, Superfund sites, Brownfield development, sewer and pump station designs, storm water management and permitting, stream bank stabilization, erosion control and hydrogeologic investigations. He has worked on both public and private projects in all six New England states, ranging from small to multi-million dollar assignments.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Tom is licensed as a Professional Engineer in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York. He is also recognized as a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts.  With the addition of Tom to its staff, S. W. Cole is now able to perform environmental site remediation projects, such as Phase II environmental site assessments, in the state of Massachusetts. The firm has provided these services in New Hampshire and Maine for many years.
