Broadening its reach in northern New England, S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. is excited to announce that it has opened a construction materials testing laboratory in Manchester, New Hampshire. The office, the third office opened by S. W. Cole in New Hampshire and its seventh overall, is located at 150 Zachary Road.
Christopher Wildes, who has worked for S .W. Cole since 2004 in our materials testing division, will be overseeing the new office. President Paul F. Kohler, P.E., a senior geotechnical engineer with the firm, said that the new location will allow S. W. Cole to more effectively service clients in the Greater Manchester area, including those in Nashua and Concord. “The Manchester area is the business hub of New Hampshire, and we are pleased to be able to serve our clients, both new and old, with a convenient location on the east side of the city,” Kohler said. “Centrally located between our Keene and Somersworth offices, the new office will allow for expanded coverage in central New Hampshire.”
All of S. W. Cole Engineering’s laboratories provide physical testing of concrete, soil, aggregates and asphalt. The firm’s technicians provide field testing of construction materials for projects that include buildings, roads and bridges, infrastructure such as water and sewer projects, and industrial projects including wind power and transmission projects and manufacturing plants.
