Portland Office Welcomes New Employee to S. W. Cole Team

The Portland office welcomes a new employee to our team.  With the addition of Tom Trainor, P.G. , S. W. Cole's Portland office has grown to include four professional Geologists and Engineers providing Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Hydrogeologic Consulting, Geothermal Consulting, and Environmental Consulting to a varied clientele throughout Northern New England.

Tom Trainor has joined the Portland office as a Senior Environmental Geologist.  Tom comes to S. W. Cole from Jacques Whitford Associates/Stantec.  He is a Certified Environmental Assessment Consultant and a Licensed Asbestos Inspector, and over 20 years experience with environmental and geotechnical services.  Tom was born in Waterville, raised in Cumberland, graduated from Greely High School and earned an Environmental Science degree from Colby College.  His previous work experience includes Weston Geophysics Company where he worked all over the world on marine geophysical surveys.

Tom's experience includes environmental and geotechnical field investigations, environmental site assessments, borehole advancement and well installation, contaminated media sampling including air, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil and soil vapor, storm water pollution prevention plans, erosion and sedimentation control plans, spill prevention plans, and remedial action plans.  Tom can be reached in our Portland office by phone (207) 773-6800 or via email at ttrainor@swcole.com.
