Eric Baron, Vice President of Explorations

Eric Baron is the Vice President of Explorations for Seaboard Drilling, LLC (seaboarddrilling.com), a wholly-owned subsidiary of S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc. Originally formed as S.W.COLE Explorations with one rig in 2015, the new entity was established to provide test boring exploration services. The firm evolved with the acquisition of several drilling companies that we brought together from across New England, including Seaboard Drilling, Inc., Allstate Drilling, and Great Works Test Borings. In 2023 the firm was rebranded as Seaboard Drilling, LLC and is now headquartered in Bangor, Maine with branch offices in Chicopee, MA, Riverside, RI and Somersworth, NH.

Eric was born in Laconia, New Hampshire and raised in North Berwick, Maine. From a young age Eric was intrigued by construction sites, bridges and tall buildings, and it was this interest - and the urging from his high school math and science teachers - that led him to pursue a career in engineering. After graduating from Noble High School in North Berwick, Eric attended the University of Maine where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
